Did you know that...as of June 30, 2009, over $6,800,000 has been placed in the Council on Development Endowment Management Program. Started in 2007, the Endowment Fund Management Program offers three separate funds: The Stable Fund, The Balanced Fund, and The Growth Fund.

For the second quarter of 2009 the total returns for these three investment funds as calculated by The Delaware County Bank & Trust Co. (the current investment manager) were:

1. •Stable  -0.2%
   

2. •Balanced  8.3%
   

3. •Growth  12.8%
   

It should be noted that these past investment results do not guarantee future results.

Local churches, United Methodist organizations, and individuals are encouraged to review the documentation contained in the Endowment Packet to determine suitability for their purposes. Attached is a copy of a brochure providing a few more details and a way to request that an entire packet be delivered to you. Hard copies of the brochure are available in quantities as requested. If your church does not have an endowment fund, we would be happy to have conversation about establishing an endowment fund.
